St Andrews Links consists of six golf course, one of which is the Old Course. This is the home of golf, where the game evolved and where the spirit and traditions of golf have been safeguarded for over six centuries. It is place of global importance, managed by St Andrews Links Trust. The Old Course plays host to various professional golfing events, such as the Dunhill Links Championship, and the Walker Cup. The famous Swilcan Bridge is located near the 18th hole, and is a popular sight for golfers to stand for a memorable photograph after completing the course.
