Opened in 1960, Harlow Sportcentre was the first community sport centre in the UK. Since this time it has earned a deserved reputation for its outstanding range of facilities, clubs, coaching programmes and school and community links. As well as a comprehensive range of indoor facilities, the centre boasts floodlit tennis courts and a cricket and athletics field. Paid membership is not required to use the majority of facilities, generous parking space is available, and opening hours are long.
