The centre of community life offers crown green bowls facilities for all ages and both sexes. Regular fixtures take place against neighbouring towns and villages throughout the warmer months. The club welcomes new members and guests, aiming to take the game to a wider audience. Famously the club was visited by the Queen Mother in 1933, one of their proudest moments.
