This community leisure centre is owned by Uttlesford District Council and managed on their behalf by a private company. It was opened in 1984 and has received significant funding since this time to improve its ‘state of the art’ leisure facilities. The centre has swimming pools, a large indoor sports hall that can be used for many sporting activities, outdoor tennis facilities, a beauty suite, gym and spa facilities. The centre hosts many local sports teams, event and is open to the general public all year round. It is one of the best sporting facilities in the area.
