The centrally located Parkside Pools public leisure facility is one of the best in the area. Its large swimming pool is a central feature of the complex and is open for public swimming as well as being a centre of excellence for the Britsh Swimming Association. Also at the complex there is a spa, sauna and gymnasium, plus a fully equipped café and set of vending machines. The pool and gym are open all year round and are run on behalf of Cambridge City Council.
