The sports ground may not seem like an unusual thing to find in a large open area of London but strangely enough Hampstead Heath is so wooded in the most part that there has to be a special area set aside for sports and outdoor recreations. On a summers day it is not unusual to find many people playing casual games of football or simply tossing a Frisbee back and forth on this clearing amongst the historic trees.
