London Scottish Golf Club is the oldest golf club in Wimbledon and is set amongst beautiful scenery at the heart of Wimbledon Common. The club originally started in 1864 as a society to entertain the members of the London Scottish Rifle Volunteers but since that time it has grown to be one of the most popular courses in south London, thanks largely to its location and design. There is a small clubhouse close to the windmill on Wimbledon Common which welcomes new guests and visitors.
