There has been a sporting facility on this site since the 1920s, but this modern open access Millennium Arena was not opened until the year 2000. The arena offers open access sporting facilities to the public including use of the running track, gymnasium, football pitches and floodlit tennis courts. Coaching and advice is available in many sporting areas from the knowledgeable staff. Wandsworth Borough Council maintains the arena as one of its flagship community projects owns the centre.
