The racecourse at Windsor is located just outside the town and is in the form of a figure eight. The course is just over a mile and a half long and the last five furlongs are straight. There are three different enclosures: the Club Enclosure which is for members and gives access to all the facilities and an excellent view of the winning post, the Grandstand Enclosure which has a good view of the winning post, and the Silver Ring which is mainly used by families and has only a limited view of the winning post. An enjoyable day out.
